He successfully completed the employment contract under United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for two years as Associate Professor in Ethiopian Civil Service University, Ethiopia. His area of specialization is community development. He secured International certificate in community development and Adult education at Nijmegen University, Netherlands. He has participated in several National and International (Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia and Canada) seminars, conferences and workshops and enriched with the knowledge of social work education. He has delivered guest lecturers in several universities in Canada, Belgium and Germany. His focused areas are capacity building, empowering women groups(SHG'S, DWACRA'S), child education and health, youth development, Awareness building on social issues, community development in urban slums, rural and tribal areas. He has good network with the NGO'S and promoted several programmes for the community development. He has Life membership in several National associations of social work education.
