This book is a critical examination and evaluation of provisions of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 concerning leases. It has been found necessary and significant to highlight the different facets of the problems and suggest measures for improvements to the existing provisions of law in order to reduce the impact of those problems to the extent possible in a fast changing socio-economic scenario.
