Transparent soap bases are often made by using premium-grade vegetable oils and comprise glycerin as one of the primary ingredients. The presence of glycerin not only gives that extra bit of shimmer and clear appearance to the transparent glycerin soap but also makes them more lathering and skin-friendly. As a result, they are often referred to as Glycerin soap bases.
