From 19571963, he was senior consultant of SQC & TQM in western region of ISI. From 19641994, he was senior faculty of spares, materials and maintenance in ASCI. During 19791981, he served as United Nations Advisor in Middle East for inventory and spares management. In 1969, Dr. Gopalakrishnan was trained by Harward Business School (US) as a Ford Foundation Scholar. He has authored 30 books and published 500 papers in reputed journals based on his teaching, research and training experience. He has conducted various workshops and training programmes on various aspects of management in India and abroad. Late A.K. Banerji was Senior Faculty with the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad. He had over three decades of experience in the maintenance of various aircrafts, including helicopters. Also, he conducted a number of programmes for senior executives on maintenance and spare parts management. He was also a consultant to several organisations.
