This book contains an account of the author’s experiences at the famous Reformatory of ching leput, now part of Tamil Nadu, where a large number of juvenile criminals were brought under his wings. He had taken care to maintain the high standard of the descriptive excellence for which he has been known coupled with the accent on policy formulation for the campaign to reform juvenile criminals.The large number of illustrations included in the volume add immense value to the account and enhance its clarity.
