Me, My Friends and an Aunty is a tongue-in-cheek novel which tells the story of four young men working in the Silicon Valley of India and a rather mysterious woman who comes to change their lives. Summary of the Book Jaggi has been working with a TV production house which churns out soaps regularily, hoping to break into the movie business. Giri, Deeps and Shinu are slaves of the IT industry, and in three years they have become brainless machines trying to break out of the monotony. When the four of them look for a way out of their lives, in comes a mysterious woman who they only know by the moniker of aunty. She changes their lives forever, and becomes the shoulder for all of them to release their anger, tears and doubts on. However, who is she? Where did she come from? What is her name? The four men slowly start to realize they may never find the answers to these questions. However, all they need is for Aunty to be around forever. But will she? And is there a price for the service she is giving them? If so, can they afford to pay it? About Jagadish Nadanalli Jagadish Nadanalli is an Indian writer, screenwriter, associate director and lyricist working in the Kannada film industry. A former civil engineer, this is his debut novel.
