Mistborn Trilogy Set consists of the first three books of the Mistborn series, including Mistborn: The Final Empire, Mistborn: The Well Of Ascension, and Mistborn: The Hero Of Ages. Summary Of The Book Mistborn Trilogy Set is a collection of the first three novels of the fantasy Mistborn series written by Brandon Sanderson. The author questions the consequences of the Dark Lord taking over the world at the beginning of the series. The answers to these questions can be found in this trilogy, an epic saga of magical action and surprises. The first novel in the series is Mistborn: The Final Empire, which was originally published in July 2006. It takes the reader back a thousand years. A prophesied hero has failed in his attempt to overthrow a magnificent and terrible evil. He loses a fight with the Dark Lord, who then takes over and rules with an iron fist for a thousand years. And for all these years, mists come each night and ash falls from the sky on this barren land. The novel moves further as a gang of thieves decide that it is better to ignore the prophecies and stop waiting for some fabled hero to save them. They plan to rob the emperor’s wealth and use it to bribe his armies to make them stay away from him while the thieves can take over the empire. The second book is Mistborn: The Well of Ascension. It takes the story further from the first book where the characters have overthrown the Dark Lord and seized the throne. It begins with Elend Venture on the throne. The city is under siege as ordered by Elend’s father, a brutal tyrant, Straff Venture. This novel revolves around Vin, Elend, and the team, and depicts how they try not to lose control of the city by fighting against armies and politics. Also, the characters are on a quest to find their true identities and their ultimate goals in life. The third book is Mistborn: The Hero Of Ages, which was originally published in October 2008. It narrates the story of the prophesied hero of the Terris people. He has been asked to indulge in a selfless act to save the world from the Deepness. He has to find and give up power at the Well of Ascension. However, there is a trick planned to allow his escape from imprisonment by Ruin,  who wants to destroy the world completely. These chain of events alters the Terris prophecies.  About Brandon Sanderson Brandon Sanderson is an American fantasy fiction author who is famously known for his Mistborn series. Besides the Mistborn series, he has authored several other books including Firstborn, Defending Elysium, Legion, Infinity Blade: Awakening, The Emperor's Soul, Warbreaker, and The Way of Kings. Brandon Sanderson was born on the 19th of December, 1975, in Nebraska. He completed his master’s in creative writing from Brigham Young University. During his master’s, he was also on the staff of Leading Edge as the editor of this semi-professional magazine published by the university. He published his first book, Elantris, in 2005 and since then he has written several books. He married his wife in 2006 and has two children. Currently, he lives in American Fork, Utah.
