I acknowledge the contribution of many teachers who taught me at Aligarh Muslim University the basic lesson of Philosophy. I remember Prof Jamal Khwaja, Prof Wahid Akhtar and others who taught me Western Philosophy, Indian Philosophy, ethics and logic. I acknowledge the contribution of my two beloved teachers Prof. Nooru Nabi and Prof. Anzarul Haq who taught me the Muslim Philosophy, Mystical Philosophy and Analytical Philosophy in such a manner that I developed intrest in comparative studies and continued to work on Ghazzali and Western Philosophers from early eighties from my student days in Aligarh.
