Sanskrit literature properly establishes all aspects of life. The attainment of Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha is the goal of human life. Therefore, four types of scriptures were formed for their regulation. In order to make the attainment of this Purusharth Chatushtaya easy for the general public, arts emerged which became very popular. Drama is the culmination of these arts, in which the inclusion of all the fine arts becomes perfect. On the subject of drama, there is a well-known composition in the name of Bharat Muni, Natyashastra, which is considered to be the epitome of drama. Bharat's work is a great achievement of Indian literature. The entire Natyashastra gives a detailed description of the parts of drama in thirty-six chapters. But its first, second and sixth chapters are such that their study is extremely useful for every student of literature. In the first chapter, along with the origin of drama, it has been defined, which is very broad. In the second chapter, there is a description of the theater and the type of its creation. The sixth chapter presents a comprehensive explanation of the soul of the drama.
