In the 'Forerunner of the Renaissance', there is a biography of the great idolaters of India who have played an important role in the formation of modern India. Always struggled with the qualities, character and sacrifice, they gave the message of the Renaissance in the country. Consequently, new awakening arose in the country and we finally got freedom from the slavery of hundreds of years under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and threw the British out of the country. It was the vision of these great men that India now stands ahead in the competition of other countries of the world with new energy. The period of the Renaissance was from 1857 to the year 1947. We take inspiration from the life of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, described in this book, Mangal Pandey, Veer Kunwar Singh, Rani of Jhansi, Ramkrishna Paramahansa, Swami Vivekananda, Maharshi Arvind, Mahatma Gandhi, Maharshi Sadafdev, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and sister Nivedita etc. This book is written for the purpose of creating a sense of patriotism among the youth of the country.
