The conflict between need and desire remains in life. As soon as our need is fulfilled, a new need takes birth under the influence of desire. Desire is the mother of need. To control desire, practice of meditation, good company and pure food is necessary. From impure wealth, impure food, impure mind and impure body are born. Discipline is necessary to control desire. Discipline requires motivation which comes from within us.
