This book is a elective paper for civil engineering student. This book is primarily designed as an introductory text book for the students pursuing B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering. Each chapter contains a set of exercise at the end of each unit to test the students comprehension. About the Author Saiful Islam is presently working as a Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, RGEC, Meerut, U.P. He did his B.Tech degree from Zakir Hussain College of Engineering, A.M.U, Aligarh. He has completed his M.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is the life member of Indian Society of Technical Education, International Association of Engineers and International Association of Protective Structures. He has published two papers in International journal. He has attended several conferences/ Workshops.
