This book provides a systematic and unified approach to the analysis, identification and optimal control of continuous-time dynamical systems via orthogonal polynomials such as Legendre, Laguerre, Hermite, Tchebycheff, Jacobi, Gegenbauer, and via orthogonal functions such as sine-cosine, block-pulse, and Walsh.
