Dracaena reflexa is a tree native to Mozambique, Madagascar, Mauritius, and other nearby islands of the Indian Ocean. It is widely grown as an ornamental plant and houseplant, valued for its richly coloured, evergreen leaves, and thick, irregular stems. Song of India Golden is hardy, drought tolerant, low maintenance, air purifier and good luck bringer houseplant which does not require to be fed or watered frequently and does exceedingly well in low light indoor environment. It cannot tolerate low light but is not frost hardy, it is often grown indoors. They make excellent houseplants because they are drought tolerant and among the more forgiving dracaena plants.
