She got her B.Ed Degree from Varanasy Vishwavidyalaya Varanasy. She has presented a no of papers in Indian History Congress, Patiala History Congress these are published in different leading journals. She worked as a Principal in Kasturba Yidhayalya run by Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust Jammu (National Organisation) and as a Superintendent in Short Stay Home for girls and Women run by K.G.N.M. T rust Jammu 1900 to 1994. She worked as a Lecturer in Udhampur Women College form 19941995 and in Rajouri Degree College from 1995 to 1996 AND 1996 to 1997 as an adhoc basis. She has a long teaching experience of different schools and colleges. Presently, she is working as a teacher & also working as an N.G.O in Jammu region.
