Through experiencing lack, one learns the profound value of what's missing, often providing it generously to others. But does this generosity leave them drained? Do they forget their own deservingness of love? Or do they learn to demand the love they so freely give? Perhaps there's no such thing as an empty cup, merely a facade safeguarding the heart from pain?
