He was Director, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai, and has also worked as Joint Director (Dental) in the same Directorate.Dr. Taware has been examiner for undergraduate, postgraduate and DNB courses in the subject of oral and maxillofacial surgery, for Mumbai University and various universities across India. He has worked as ex-officio member of several advisory committees of Mumbai University and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Maharashtra State Dental Council, and Dental Council of India. He has presented many research papers at various state and national conferences. Besides these, he has made contributions to many national and international publications.
