What exactly is Public Administration? It is highly impossible to gove the answer to this question without detailled elaboration. At the present stage of man's life, public administration is indispensable. Contemporary civilisation could not function withotu it. Citizens realisers and knowns that it is unavoidable. He cannot escape from it. For the people, there is no choice other than willing acceptance. This book entitled "Public Administration'deals with various important aspects such as general perspective of public administration and its shifting base, the peculiarities, its relations with other social sciences, public policy, administrative systems, accountability, administrative law and so forth and so on. About Author : Dr. P. B. Rathod was born on 3rd May 1958 in Gulbarga, district of Karnataka state. A post-graduate of Gulbarga University, he holds Ph.d. degree on "Development Administration; from G.U.G. in 1998. Dr. Rathod written and published more than 56 Research Articles/papers in different national journals. Such as Manushi, Radical Humanist, Third Concpet etc. He has also presented research papers in U.G.C. sponsored national seminars and conferences. He styles himself as a professional writer and has written more than 21 books. Most of his book are related to political science and public administration. Dr. Rathod is also an "Associate" of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh). Thus, he is a prolific and an eminent wroter of All India repute. He has been teaching political science in Gulbarga University, Gulbarga from last 19 years.
