About The Book: Public Administrative system in India continuously spread and expanded its scope carrying its steel frame for about 40 years after independence. Steel is symbolic of hardness of character, strength, firmness and malleability. The steel frame is now tempered and transformed in to plastic. Bhaskara rao (b. 1939) was formely Professor of Public Administration at Kakatiya University, Warangal, A.P. He served the university in every capacity as academician and administrator. He guided six M.Phill. And 11 Ph.Ds. Author and editor of 35 books in English and Telugu and published about 80 research papers. He participated in about 100 national and international seminars and conferences. He organized maby national seminars and directed research projects of ICSSR and UGC. He is the recipient of many awards including State Teachers Award of Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1992. He is closely associated with the Indian Public Administration Association and the founder SecretaryCumTreasurer of new Public Administration Sociaty of India since its inception in 1994. He was also associated in many ways with the Indion Institute of Public Administration at national and local level.
