The book " Python Prowess" has been prepared to meet the requirement of people who are willing to learn basic programming skills using python. The python programming has been covered fully describing the subject matter in a simple language. A large number of programs have been added wherever required. This book divided into six chapters: Chapter 1: Introduction Chapter 2: Conditional and Control Statements Chapter 3: Lists,Tuples and Dictionaries Chapter 4: Strings and Functions Chapter 5: File Handling Chapter 6: Practice Programs Each chapter contains a number of example programs to explain the techniques to solve a problem. All efforts have been made to keep errors to barest minimum. However, there is a possibility that some errors might have crept in inadvertently. We, would, therefore be grateful is such oversights are pointed out by the readers. Suggestions for improvement of the text from readers are welcome. -Authors
