If you stop seeing the light at the end of the tunnel maybe it is time to turn around...Poetry to me is a saviour that tided me through the dark tunnels of life and helped me to turn back to the light by giving me the necessary 'vent' for my emotions. I have always subscribed to Wordsworth's definition of poetry, “the spontaneous overflow of feelings”. And that, dear readers, is what my poetry is filled with, feelings, emotions, and some real-life anecdotes. Life. Love. Despair. Hope. We all know these words. Yet we all perceive and interpret each of these very differently. This little poetry collection is my take on life, love, despair, hope, happiness, and relationships - even the ones we have with ourselves.My poems are merely the ramblings of a lost soul, a misfit, trying to navigate through the convoluted labyrinth of life, with laughter and tears. Trying to balance the light side and the darker one which has its own allure. We all have different sides and facets to our personalities. We often wear a mask or several different ones, which leads us to lose sight of who we truly are. These poems are my attempt to end this masquerade and a journey to examine who I truly am. They will take you through a roller coaster ride of emotions, good, bad, and ugly, and bring you back to the other side unharmed yet dazed and hopefully resonate with you in ways unknown!
