Ransom My Heart, by Princess of Genovia, Mia Thermopolis, with help from Meg Cabot. According to the Princess Diaries, it is written by Mia as her senior project, and was published during Forever Princess, the last book in the Princess Diaries series. Summary of the Book The handsome knight, Hugh Fitzstephen, has been kidnapped by the beautiful, exuberant Finnula Crais while the new Earl of Stephensgate was on his way home from the Crusades. Finnula is also unaware of the fact that Hugh is quite happy to be kidnapped by an enchanting tomboy. He does not even want to be rescued! The fireworks start when Finnula is trying her best to hold him to ransom and Hugh wants trying to win her heart over.  But a disaster strikes just when the budding romance is about to take a happy course. When an attempt is made to kill the new Earl, Hugh can't let Finnula get away as she comes across as the only suspect.
