About the Book This book discusses the philosophical foundations of the reservations and examines the transformation in the idea of reservations. It also observed that, how reservation policy has been discussed with its judicial articulation and emerging trends, more particularly, it assumes that the 10% quota for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). About the Author Prof. Naidu Ashok is presently working as Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Currently, he is the director district Post Graduate Colleges, Osmania University. He has 32 years of distinguished academic career in the Department of Political Science. He guided 12 completed PhDs, 8 M.Phills on wide range of themes. He has published 19 research articles. He also held academic and administrative positions such a member of Executive Council, O.U, Principal Osmania University Post graduate college, Mahabub nagar, Principal, Nizam College, Principal, University College of Arts & Social Sciences, O.U, Director, Department of Press and Publications, Osmania University.Dr. Rajesh Kota is an author of Dalit Movement and Radical Left which was recently published by Rawat Publications. He is presently working as guest faculty in the Department of Political Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He also worked as a Project fellow at the Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) Phase-I & II, UGC-New Delhi Sponsored Programme, Department of Political Science, Osmania University. He presented research papers in National and International seminars. He recently visited U.S and Italy for attending an International Conferences.
