Pure hand made very unique and beautiful hand carved duck egg. The carving resembles Madeira lace therefore it?s called Madeira egg. Creating this egg is a very detailed process. The egg is hollowed, properly cleaned, dried and the design is carved using a high speed drill. Final design is protected by 2-3 layers of clear varnish. Each egg is original, no two are the same. I purchase the eggs from a local upstate NY farm. The duck egg shell is strong and comes in natural white color. Feel free to choose an egg/eggs that you like from the pictures I have posted. I have pre-made stock available but can custom create at no extra charge. Each egg comes with a ribbon. This is a true display of craftmanship. Comes carefully packaged to protect during shipping.
