Some of us feel too much. As the lead in a certain web-series once said (albeit in a vastly different context), "it is both a gift and a curse".So what do we do when the thoughts and emotions form little eddies and currents and whirlpools, flowing and cascading well beyond our reach? We package them into words as best as we can, and send them out into the universe.There is much that is volatile and ephemeral and heartbreakingly beautiful in this world. In trying to navigate these tides, we send down roots along our journeys - some in places, some in people, and yet others, in ourselves. 'Roots' is an attempt at chronicling this search for solace, for permanence, in transient, shape-shifting spaces.
