Science Grade Booster series, developed for Classes 6 to 8, comprises an exhaustive set of questions that comprehensively cover the NCERT syllabus.Designed in accordance with the requirements of the continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) pattern of the CBSE, this series promotes self-learning, making it possible for students to learn at their own pace. It uses a variety of question types that not only reinforces comprehension of concepts, but also encourages students to apply these concepts to understand the world around them. It offers graded levels of learning, with questions segregated by levels of difficulty. Salient Features Each chapter features five zones of comprehension and assessment: Recap Zone The Recap Zone uses visual aids such as mind trees, figures, and tables to summarise key concepts from the chapter. It includes a list of important keywords and their definitions as well. Knowledge-Understanding Zone The Knowledge-Understanding Zone, segregated into three difficulty levels, comprises several types of questions such as one-word responses, multiple choice questions, and picture-based questions, which help students review their comprehension of key concepts and terms. Application-Analysis Zone The Application-Analysis Zone requires students to apply concepts to answer the featured questions. H.O.T.S. Zone The H.O.T.S. Zone includes a set of questions and activities that are designed to foster the development of higher order thinking skills. Fun/Quiz Zone The Fun/Quiz Zone features interesting activities such as crosswords that emphasise terms and definitions from the chapter.
