Coleus Blumei, also known as Painted Nettle, is an annual summer plant but can grow throughout the year if good care is taken. This plant cannot withstand cold, so if kept in full sunlight in winters or indoors it can still thrive. Coleus is generally grown as an ornamental plant for its colorful foliage available in green, purple, yellow, orange, and red. Coleus likes rich and well-drained soil but not dry. So water requirements are normal.
