Capacity of every jars usually defined in ml and liquid being standard across all medium is considered to define the capacity. If you are buying a jar ensure that capacity is defined in mililitre and the item you are going to fill may accomodate upto the capacity described for the jar For Example - a jar of 500 ml may accomodate 550 gms of salts but cashwes, almonds only upto 400 gms. If you will fill corn flakes it may accomodate less than 150 gms. So capacity in ml go correctly for ghee, honey and any material in liquid form.
