Some Flowers in a Mixed Bag' is a collection of mostly 'flower' inspired poems written by Kanaka Ghosalkar as an effort to gift herself freedom: literary, intellectual, and, personal. The apt use of metaphors, figurative language, rhymes and rhythms, and twists and turns in this Classic English Style poetry creation are a proof of the author's love for the English language and culture. Through her first creative attempt she encourages the readers to find a place for themselves in this; 'Purposely Staggered Floral Creation', inciting in them the need to make each poetry their own, and liberate themselves; by making room for individual freedom; while still embracing 'Life'; as a Mixed Bag!
