Jane has been sent to Northumbria on a one week Zen Buddhist retreat by Patricia, her strong minded friend. After a difficult year Jane is happy to accept Patricia's seven day gift but her encounter with meditation, and with herself, takes her on a journey she neither expected nor wanted.
