Songs of the Heart is a small collection of heart touching poems that carry you to a world in the poet's imagination which is full of the livliness of the the natural world , the "aroma" of the heart's inner desire for blissful happiness. However along with the prestine beauty of nature the heart also captures the dullness and morbidity of the world where human relations are always in a "flux", and the "demon of envy and hatred" gulps upon the innocent and carefree child like heart . Amidst these bitter realties the poetess moves on like the "phoenix" bird to realize the path of goodness which God opens up for all .
