The characters portrayed in the stories are anthropomorphic in nature, i.e. they are animal with human characteristics. About Anant Pai Anant Pai was the former editor of Amar Chitra Katha. He is best known for pioneering Indian comics and creating Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle magazine.
