The book is a collection of short stories representing the modern Meitei ethos from the perspective of a sensitive and eloquent woman. She weaves these stories from her lived experience and a tinge of fiction to make the characters come to life. It is an attempt to portray the milieu of the beautiful and conflict-ridden state of Manipur. It consists of five short stories narrated by the protagonist. It comprises of tales of star-crossed lovers, resilience and strength, loneliness, overcoming fear and finding oneself. It is an easy read with a unique sense of poignant yet satirical humor.
