Levitt is a renowned economist known for his work on a variety of fields, including crime and politics. He has co-authored another book called Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores The Hidden Side Of Everything William Morrow. He was born in 1967, and graduated with a B.A. in economics from Harvard University in 1989. He obtained his Ph.D from MIT in 1994. He currently teaches at the University of Chicago. Stephen J. Dubner is a well-known journalist, and an author who had his first piece of writing published at the age of 11 in Highlights For Children. Some other books by him are The Boy With Two Belly Buttons, Confessions Of A Hero-Worshiper, and Turbulent Souls: A Catholic Son’s Return To His Jewish Family. He graduated from Appalachian State University in 1984, and received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing from Columbia University in 1990. His writings have been published in The New Yorker, Time, and The New York Times.
