Susam?ch?ra is the first Odia language novel based on evangelism and religious conflict in the hinterlands of Odisha, India. SUSAMACHARA (means Gospel or Good News), written by Subhransu Panda, is a soft satire against religious fundamentalism, communal exploitation and superstition. It is first of its kind novel in Odia written in Biblical style of writings. It is based on religious conversions. Actually it's a black comedy and focused on the religious conflicts in India and in Odisha.
