This beautiful Jamdani saree is completely woven by our master craftsmen, from the finest silk yarn in the weave pattern. It is 5.5 meters in length /width-1.6 mt and does not include a blouse piece. THE ART of FINE WOVEN SILK: This is a unique weaving art-form from West Bengal. These sarees have a unique design that makes them stand out from the rest. This sarees are woven traditionally using fine silk or cotton yarn in the warp and weft for the body. Tassar silk or wool is used in the extra warp for weaving the border design. They are loom finished during weaving. The Par or the edge of the saree is made with exquisite silken threads for extended durability. The fine silk/cotton yarn used in weaving the saree, make them very comfortable especially for the Indian weather.
