This book puts forward the theory that the shape many Tamil alphabets are derived from hand gestures, from organs in the body, from the shape of the embryo, etc. To support his theory the author includes many illustrations to the effect. This book is a reprint of the 1917 edition. Witrh and introduction by S.T.Iyer.
