About Thiagarajan Viswanathan Thiagarajan Viswanathan is an author, engineer, and professor, who hails from Bangalore. Viswanathan completed his Ph.D. in Engineering. As an engineer, he has many years of experience designing and developing communication systems and digital computers. Before entering academia, he worked for the Indian Space Research Organization. He then assumed a Professorship in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. Viswanathan is a Fellow at the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. At present, he is a Director at the Indian National Scientific Documentation Centre. He has published research articles in many reputable international and national journals.
