This work comprises 12 dossiers on trends in French society. Interviews, portraits, surveys and reading passages are used to convey to post-GCSE students of French what is happening in France today. The topics are exploited in a multi-skill format in line with the most recent trends in modern language testing at A level and beyond. The work begins at a level accessible to those commencing A level. Later passages provide a challenge for more able pupils with greater language knowledge. The work is also suitable for adult learners and for students in Further Education and lower level courses in Higher Education.
