The book has two parts: The first one deals with a youth coming to Mumbai to earn a decent living. But destiny makes him stumble upon a new opportunity which takes him to unforeseen glory. The second part deals with the life of a famous actress and how she goes into oblivion. It shows how fame could be fleeting. Both narratives are fictional.
