The dialectics of black consciousness has been forged by the African feminists so as to elucidate the hidden truth governing black females and to tone down the politics of considering black females as non-entities. The present book is a critical anthology dealing with the feminist propagation of African/Afro-American womanist praxis. It tries to critically analyze the past and the present patriarchal ideology of the said race. The anthology has nine articles ranging from the analysis of the works of Buchi Emecheta to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
