About The Author Susheel Kumar Sharma (b. 1962) teaches English at the University of Allahabad. Earlier he has taught at I.K.S. University, Khairagarh, Chitrakoot University, Chitrakoot and G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He has published research articles on literateurs like Shakespeare, John Milton, Samuel Johnson, Bernard Shaw, W.B. Yeats, D.H. Lawrence, George Orwell, Miriam Waddigton, Sandra Lunnon, Raja Rao, Bhabani Bhattacharya, Rabindranath Tagore, Arun Joshi and Anurag Mathur in prestigious journals and authologies. He has also reviewed books for Creative Forum, Indian Book Chronicle, Journal of Criticism, Meerut Journal of Comparative Litareture and Language, Punjab University Research Bulletin, Poet, Points of View, Pratibha India, Punjab Journal of English Studies and The Vedic Path. His research books The Theme of Temptation in Milton (1996, ISBN : 81-7076-058-7, Delhi: Intellectual) and Contemporary Indian English Novel (ISBN: 81-86585-60-4, Delhi: Anamika, 1999, Co-author: Prof. B.D. Sharma) have been received very well in academic circles. From the Core Within (ISBN : 81-85231-27-3, Delhi: Creative, 1999), the first collection of his verse, was reviewed widely and drew praise from different corners of the world. These reviews have been collected and presented with a detailed Introduction under the title Bricks and Bouquets (Ed. Sanjeev Kumar, New Delhi: Creative Books, 2008, pp xxxii+69, ISBN: 81-85231-32-S). Some of his poems have also been reissued in England, the US, Canada and in France in French translation.
