Summary of the Book Shishir’s Gupta’s extensive research on the political relationship India has with China, has been evident in The Himalayan Face-Off: Chinese Assertion and the Indian Riposte. Although the two most populated countries in the world have a bilateral trade which is estimated over a hundred billion dollars, China’s assertiveness towards India in terms of geographical boundary, military, security and politics.
