This book has met great blocks. The book in the present form has been in the publishing since June 2024 but it met with an accident. The publishing system crashed. Then I went back to my old publishers with whom I had published four books in the previous years. I am truly grateful to them for taking up this project with me.The book contains seventeen stories. These are mostly dark tales about ghosts, some of these wait for revenge for centuries and finally catch up with the wrong-doers and punish them. They are angry ghosts but not rowdy but rather quite civilized (Ha Ha). The ghost in THE DETECTIVE even forgives his murderer and earns his reprieve by dissolving in the cosmic energy.My ghosts do not spring from spooky, moth-ridden corners to haunt for the pleasure of it or to get rid of their boredom, but are organic, generated by the deeds and misdeeds of the characters involved. One can easily read these in the dark cold Evenings even while alone.I am naturally inclined to the dark side of human psyche. Crime thrillers are my favourite reads and have read OEDIPUS REX as a crime thrillers. Shakespeare's Tragedies are ridden with ghosts and crime and punishment.
