Set in the futuristic city-state of Greater Berlin, Herr Heinrich Gottschalk is faced with the increasingly difficult task of coming to terms with 'what he is'. Struggling with the morality of the orders he is given Heinrich compensates with a narcissistic temper and drugs. With the intrusion of a mechanical assassin in the city, Heinrich tracks the elusive automaton and begins to question exactly what defines man and machine.
