The River of Adventure is the final thrilling instalment in The Adventure Series written by Enid Blyton. Summary of the Book The Adventure Series features the following child characters: Philip, Jack, Dinah, and Lucy-Ann, along with many other adult characters and Jack’s pet parrot called Kiki. The children discover and solve several mysteries pretty much on their own. In The River of Adventure, the four children and their families plan on a river trip in the Middle East, after recovering from a bad flu. But there is a whole different reason behind the choice of the place: Bill has the task of watching over a crook called Raya Uma. During the trip, the children discover that there is something more to the place – a splendid buried city full of treasure beyond anyone’s imagination.
