The Rosie Effect is the much-awaited, hilarious sequel to The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. Summary of the Book Don Tillman has been teaching and Rosie Jarman has completed her second year at Columbia Medical School. They are now married and live in New York. Rosie surprises Don with news of her pregnancy just when he was about to tell her that his philandering best friend, Gene, is coming from Australia to stay with them. In the signature Tillman style, Don becomes an expert on all processes related to childbirth within no time. But, as he tries to strike a balance between his research study on parenting and implementing the Standardised Meal System (the pregnancy version, this time), his old weaknesses start resurfacing. About Graeme Simsion Graeme Simsion is a New Zealand-born Australian writer, data modeller, playwright, and author. He is married to a professor of psychiatry and erotic fiction writer, Anne. Previously, he was an information systems consultant and had written two books about data modelling. His other literary works include Short Story Eulogy for a Sinner, which placed second in the Stringybark Seven Deadly Sins competition.
