Angel of Death is a sequel to Susan Hill’s Angel of Death, written by Martyn Waites. Summary of the Book In the wake of the Blitz, Britain is being evacuated. Children are sent to the country for safety, and assigned teachers for protection. Eve Parkins is charge of a group of children, her own personal tragedies add to her conflicts as she tries to help them find courage. They travel towards the Eel Marsh House, a desolate house on a causeway that is almost sinking into the marsh around it. They reach the house, letting out a sigh of relief that they are safe. However, they are wrong. There is someone else in the house, someone far more dangerous than the bombs that are being dropped on the cities. The Woman in Black is back, and this time, she’s out to kill. About Martyn Waites Martyn Waites is an English novelist known for his thrillers. He has also written Mary’s Prayer, Little Triggers and Candleland. Angel of Death is being adapted into a horror film due for release in 2015. It is a sequel to the 2012 hit film, The Woman in Black.
