About the Book:Oscar Wilde is well known for his stories and the fireworks of his razor-sharp wit. The curious also read his novel – The Picture of Dorian Gray and the literary circle values him as an author from his brilliant social comedies. His critical essays are little known and read less. But Wilde deserves recognition as a literary theorist too, and this is not because he bears the mantle of Pater but because his ideas are insightful and relevant even today.
