The Thirteen Problems is a collection of short stories by the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie, starring the amateur detective Miss Jane Marple. Summary of the Book In a set of overarching narratives, Agatha Christie presents thirteen short stories. The first six are narrated by the Tuesday Night Club at the house of the elderly spinster detective Miss Jane Marple. In the next six, Miss Marple visits Sir Henry Clithering for a dinner party and participates in a guessing game. The final story is set some time after the party, and Miss Marple once again meets to help him in an ongoing investigation related to the death of a local village girl. She created several best-selling storylines centred around timeless characters such as Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence and Parker Pyne.
